I can't believe all the wonderful comments. I've used this site several times but, after carefully following this recipe, these cupcakes turned out really dry!! Wow, I couldn't believe a group of teenagers wouldn't even eat them. I had to end up throwing them out. However, the buttercream frosting is amazing! Beware!

If you do not want dry cupcakes, do not overbake!!!!

Great recipe!! Easy and quick and many variations! Perfect as is, or take the muffins out of the cups and place muffin on dessert dish. Put sliced strawberries around the muffin and top with cool whip. Dessert fit for a king and queen!!

Needed a quick dessert for company was coming over, whipped it up and yes it did work and with no eggs, was surprised! It is so easy and fast, made some frosting for it and there you go! I didn't make the cupcakes, I did a regular cake.

I wasn't sure about this recipe and the no eggs, but my daughter was needing to make cupcakes for 4H. This seemed to be the easiest I could find, so she tried it out. She did add 1 tsp of vanilla extract, 1 box of vanilla pudding, & buttermilk instead of water. She cooked them for 25 minutes and they were delicious!!! She also got 2nd place. She loved this recipe because it was so easy.

For an eggless cupcake mix I am in love with this recipe!!! I added only half the sugar and baked it for 19mins on 150 degrees then turned it up to 180 for an extra 3 mins (I wanted a little crunch on top) and it turned out so moist and delish! My new go to recipe for chocolate cupcakes :)
