MOM'S SUPER MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE | |
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix 1 (3 oz.) pkg. chocolate instant pudding 4 eggs 3/4 cup water 3/4 cup dairy sour cream 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips Mix first 6 ingredients in a bowl with wire whisk or electric wire beaters until smooth and free of clumps. Mix in chocolate chips by hand. Pour into greased (8-inch is best) pan and bake at 350°F until done. Note: No designated time here.... I made the recipe by doing the toothpick trick. Start the trick at about 20 to 25 minutes into the baking process. Toothpick trick: stick a tooth pick in the center of the cake every 5 to 10 minutes. Let cool and put on plate. I coat lightly with powdered sugar and garnish with a chocolate kiss, raspberry and mint leaf on the side. I also zig zag with a raspberry sauce but all of the garnishment is rather unnecessary.
