NORWEGIAN NUT APPLE PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 beaten egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. apples, chopped
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Combine sugar, flour, and baking powder. Stir until well mixed. Beat in egg and vanilla then stir in apples and walnuts. Grease a 8 or 9 inch pie plate and spoon mixture into and spread evenly. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degree oven. May be served with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
