SPAGHETTI PIE 
1 (8 oz.) spaghetti broken in 2 inch pieces
2 tbsp. butter
1/8 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg, well beaten
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 med. onion, chopped
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 (15 1/2 oz.) thick spaghetti sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. cottage cheese
4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Cook and drain spaghetti. Place in 9x13 pan. Stir in butter, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and eggs until combined well. Spread mixture in pan evenly.

Brown ground chuck and drain, then add to onion and pepper that has been cooked and drained.

Fry chopped onion, green pepper, onion in oil, drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce, sugar, garlic salt. Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti layer and top with meat mixture.

Bake 30 minutes. Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over top and bake 10 more minutes until cheese is melted and begins to brown. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting. (Cottage cheese is optional.)
