SPARE RIBS 
5 lbs. ribs (country style-thick ones)

SAUCE:

1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. catsup
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
Juice of lemon
4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
6 med. onions, chopped

Put ribs in a single layer in roasting pan. Brown at 450-475 degrees in oven covered for 30 minutes. D rain fat.

Bring sauce to boil, pour over ribs. Bake covered in roaster at 300 degrees for 3-5 hours, until meat falls off of bones. Baste occasionally.
