POPPYSEED CAKE - BAKER POPPYSEED FILLING | |
Very good! 3 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 2 cups sugar 1 cup salad oil 4 eggs 13 oz. evaporated milk 1 tsp. vanilla 3 tsp. Baker Poppy Filling (1 jar will make 3 cakes) 1 cup chopped nuts Sift dry ingredients together, add all liquids and mix until smooth. Add Baker Poppy Filling and nuts; mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Turn batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350°F for about 50 to 60 minutes or until done. Cool cake 5 to 8 minutes before removing from pan. |
