“CHEESE STRATA” IS IN:

CHEESE STRATA 
12 slices white bread
1/4 pound sharp cheese
2 packages (10 ounces each) broccoli, cooked, drained and chopped
2 cups diced cooked ham
6 eggs, beaten
3 1/2 cups milk
2 tablespoons minced onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
shredded cheese

Cut 12 rounds from bread, discarding crusts.

Line the bottom of a buttered baking dish with bread, then add (in order) layers of cheese, broccoli, ham and any bread crumbs leftover from the bread.

Combine eggs, milk, onion, salt and dry mustard; pour over all. Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight.

Bake, uncovered at 325°F. for 55 minutes. Sprinkle the top with shredded cheese 5 minutes before serving.

Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
