SAUSAGE BREAKFAST STRATA | |
10 slices firm bread with crust removed 1/2 stick soft butter 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 6 eggs, beaten 1/2 tsp. salt 1 lb. bulk pork sausage 2 c. Half and Half Spread bread with butter, place in greased 9 x 13 inch glass dish. Crumble sausage in skillet, cook until no longer pink. Take out with slotted spoon. Sprinkle over bread. Spread cheese over sausage. Take rest of ingredients (eggs, Half & Half, salt) and beat. Pour over the cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Can be made the night before. Cover with Saran Wrap. Let stand room temperature before serving. |
