CHERRY RUSSIAN PIE 
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 cans cherry pie filling
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, sugar and baking soda. Add shortening, eggs and vanilla. Mix ingredients thoroughly. Press mixture into large pan. Cover with cherry pie filling. Bake at 325 degrees until done. Cut recipe in 1/2 for a small pan.
