PECAN AND CREAM CHEESE POUND
CAKE
 
1 1/2 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3 c. cake flour
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Grease and flour pan, put 1/2 cup pecans in bottom of pan. Cream butter and cream cheese together. Add sugar gradually. Add one egg at a time, beating well after each. Stir in flour; mix well. Add vanilla and 1 cup pecans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
