CROCK - POT CACCIATORE 
1 chicken, par boiled and removed from bone
1 med. green pepper, chunked
1 med. onion, sliced
1 (8 oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced in lg. pieces
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. sugar
Parmesan cheese (as needed to thicken)
Spaghetti or fettucini noodles

Prepare chicken by par boiling and removing from the bone. Prepare vegetables. Place tomato sauce and spices, excluding Parmesan cheese, in crock pot. Stir well. Add chicken and vegetables to crock pot. Cook on low until vegetables are soft. Remove crock pot lid and add Parmesan cheese to thicken sauce. Continue to simmer while preparing spaghetti or fettucini noodles. Serve chicken cacciatore over noodles.
