FRENCH FRIED MUSHROOMS 
1 lb. med. mushrooms
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. milk
1 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated

Wash mushrooms and let drain. Mix all other ingredients together. Add mushrooms to batter, then deep fry until golden brown, about 2 or 3 minutes. Drain on absorbent paper, salt to taste and serve.
