FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 can fruit cocktail

Mix together, until mushy. Put in pan and sprinkle with coconut, 1/2 cup brown sugar and nuts. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

ICING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 cube butter
1 1/2 cans evaporated milk or cream

Cook for 3 minutes. Spread over cake while hot.
