PORK CHOPS WITH SAUERKRAUT AND
APPLE RINGS
 
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. current jelly
3 med. sized apples, cored and cut into rings
4 pork chops
1 can sauerkraut
1 c. chopped onions

In a skillet, melt butter and current jelly. Add apple rings and cook until browned. Remove apple rings and reserve. Brown pork chops in skillet on both sides.

Combine sauerkraut and onions, place on top of chops. Cover and cook 30 minutes over low heat. Uncover and place apple rings on top of sauerkraut mixture, cover and continue cooking 30 minutes.
