LEMON BREAD 
3/4 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
Grated rind of 2 lemons
1 c. milk
1 c. chopped nuts
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder

GLAZE:

Juice of 2 lemons
2/3 c. sugar

Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, lemon peel. Add milk then dry ingredients and nuts. Pour into 2 greased and floured bread tins. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Remove from oven and pour juice glaze over warm bread. Let sit in pan for 1 hour.
