BREAKFAST CASSEROLE SUPREME | |
English muffin bread 1/2 to 1 lb. shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 to 1 lb. shredded Swiss cheese 3 to 4 pkgs. Buddig's ham slices 9 eggs 3 1/4 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 4 c. Rice Krispies 1 stick butter Grease 9 x 13 pan or casserole. Trim crust off 6 slices of English muffin bread, butter and place on bottom of pan with buttered side up. Spread 1/2 to 1 lb. shredded cheddar cheese on top. Cover cheese with ham slices. Cover ham with 1/2 to 1 lb. shredded Swiss cheese. Mix 9 eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard. Pour over bread. Refrigerate 8 to 12 hours covered. Crush 4 cups Rice Krispies and add 1 stick melted butter. Spread over top and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. MUSHROOM SAUCE: 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can water 1 pt. sour cream Heat in double boiler or microwave and allow individuals to pour over individual servings as desired. |
