“BREAKFAST CASSEROLE” IS IN:

BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
1 can crescent rolls (Pillsbury)
1 dozen eggs
2 cups shredded cheese
1 lb. cooked breakfast meat (sausage, ham, bacon)
Salt and pepper to taste

Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish. Line dish with unbaked crescent rolls. Spread cooked meat evenly over rolls. Pour beaten eggs over meat. Place cheese over layer of eggs.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until firm. Cool 10 minutes before cutting into squares and serve.

Pre-cook the Crescent rolls for 6 minutes. I have made this recipe several times and if you do not pre-cook they will be raw. Everyone loves this recipe!!!! Including kids!!!!! Enjoy.

I have been making this recipe for years and have never had the rolls come out raw...family & friends love it! Great to take to Brunch potlucks...always a huge hit and everyone asks for recipe. yummmmm

Always precook the crust so it doesn't come out doughy in the middle. For a southwest taste,I also add 1 tbsp of chili powder, 1 tsp of ground cumin, 1 can fire-roasted chili to the scrambled eggs.
