OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco Butter flavor shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. oatmeal

Preheat oven 375 degrees. Cream together Crisco and sugars; beat in eggs and add vanilla. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt, then beat into your cream mixture. Stir in oatmeal.

Drop by rounded teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Will make about 3 dozen or more.
