NORTH SHORE POTATOES 
6 tbsp. butter
2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
2 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/2 med. onion, minced
6 med. potatoes, boiled, in skins and refrigerated for 24 hours

Melt 4 tablespoon of the butter with the cheese. Add sour cream, salt, pepper, and onions. Stir until well blended; remove from heat. Peel the potatoes and grate them into the cheese mixture. Place mixture in a buttered 2 quart casserole and dot with remaining butter. Bake at 350 degrees oven for 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8. A melt in your mouth dish!
