STRING BEAN SALAD 
1/2 lb. fresh string beans
2 pieces of bacon
1/4 c. almonds
Olive oil to taste
Parmesan cheese to taste

Cut ends off string beans and boil for 5 to 7 minutes until tender. Mix in bowl: beans, chopped almonds, 2 pieces of cooked bacon - crumbled, and olive oil. Toss gently. Add Parmesan cheese on top.
