PORK CHOPS AND RICE 
2 onions, sliced
2 tbsp. oil
4-6 pork chops
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 c. water
1 tsp.salt
1 c. raw rice
Salt and pepper
16o z. can tomato sauce

Two onions, sliced, saute in 2 tablespoons oil; then brown 4-6 pork chops. Combine: 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 cup raw rice and place in bottom of 8 x 12 inch baking dish. On top of this - cover with pork chops and onions (sprinkle a little salt and pepper). Pour over all one 1 pound can tomato sauce. Cover. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.
