1 part white sugar
4 parts water

Boil for 1 to 2 minutes. If feeder is not already red, you can add red food coloring.

Cool mixture before putting it in feeder. Thoroughly clean the feeder and replace the solution every three to four days. Clean with hot water and vinegar and rinse good.
