CREAM-TOPPED HAMBURGERS 
3 c. sliced sweet Spanish onions
1/4 c. butter
1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dill weed
1 c. dairy sour cream
6 hamburger patties

Saute onions in butter until golden, stirring frequently. Add mushrooms and saute 2 to 3 minutes longer. Blend in flour, seasonings and sour cream. Cook over low heat, stirring gently, for 5 minutes.

In the meantime, broil or grill hamburgers to desired doneness. Serve cream-topping over hamburgers, roast beef, steak or on toasted roll. This kitchen-tested recipe makes 6 servings.
