BACON WRAPPED CHICKEN BREASTS | |
Family function favorite! skinless boneless chicken breasts (however many you wish to prepare) sliced bacon (your choice) Optional: shredded cheese, preferably thin cheddar garlic powder Preheat oven to 350°F. Wrap chicken breasts with bacon slices and place in baking dish. I use two or three slices per breast, depending on the size. If you have problems with the bacon staying on you can use toothpicks to hold in place, though I myself do not. I then sprinkle a small amount of garlic powder over them (optional), it just seems to bring out a little more flavor. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until breasts are no longer pink inside. If you would like the bacon to be crisp turn the bottom broiler on for about ten minutes, you must keep close watch as to not burn it. Then switch to the top broiler for ten or so minutes until the bacon is done to your liking. Remove and sprinkle some shredded cheese on top... again this is optional, it's just as good without it! Let it cool! We serve fresh crisp green beans and some rolls with this. Submitted by: Clnrdt |
