BACON WRAPPED STUFFED PESTO
CHICKEN BREASTS
 
My original recipe that I made today for Valentines Day. Hope she likes it!

chicken breast
asparagus
sweet onion
mushrooms
Mozzarella cheese
pesto sauce
thick sliced bacon

Note: Quantity depends on how many you make.

Prepare pesto sauce, either from scratch or buy a easy sauce mix.

Pound chicken breasts flat.

Drizzle a small amount of pesto on the inside of each breast.

Place 2-3 sliced mushrooms, a small chunk of Mozzarella, two small slices of onion, and 2-3 asparagus spears on to each breast.

Fold breasts closed and wrap two strips of bacon around them. Use soaked toothpicks to hold them together.

Drizzle pesto sauce on the outside of the breasts after they are wrapped up.

Bake at 375°F for about an hour.
