AUNT IRENE'S POTATOES 
1/4 cube butter
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
12 med. potatoes

Boil potatoes not quite done, cool, shred potatoes.

Sauce: Melt butter. Stir in next 4 ingredients. Heat until cheese melts.

Place 1/2 potatoes in 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour in 1/2 sauce then another 1/2 potatoes. Finish with sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Variation: Add cooked chicken and cooked noodles to cheese sauce.
