BERRY PIE 
2/3 to 1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch or 4 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
3 c. fresh berries
9 inch pie crust (2 crust)
1 tbsp. butter

Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt; sprinkle over fruit in pastry lined pan. Dot with butter and adjust top crust. Bake 10 minutes at 450, turn oven down and bake 30 minutes at 350.

I use fresh strawberries in the summer.
