CRESCENT COOKIES 
1 1/2 lbs. butter
2 c. flour
2 c. chopped pecans
Powdered sugar
5 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vanilla
2 tsp. water
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream the butter, sugar, vanilla and water. Sift flour and salt together. Stir in mixture and add pecans and mix.

Using dough, about the size of walnuts, shape into crescents. Bake 325 degrees about 20 minutes. While warm put in powdered sugar.
