PEACH KUCHEN (GERMAN) 
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
10 peach halves, fresh or canned
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 egg yolks
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. heavy sweet or sour cream

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and 2 tablespoons sugar together. Cut in butter until crumbly. Place mixture in bottom and half way up sides of 8" square pan. Skin fresh peaches and cut in half or drain canned peaches. Arrange peaches on top of crust, then sugar and cinnamon. Bake 15 minutes. Pour a mixture of beaten egg yolks and cream over top. Bake another 30 minutes. 6 servings.
