2 c. plain flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. + 2 tbsp. sugar

1/2 c. Crisco

Mix until meal consistency.

2/3 c. milk
2 eggs

Beat 2 minutes. Bake until done.

ICING:

1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 packed c. brown sugar

Cook 2 minutes stirring constantly. Add 1/4 cup milk and cook until it boils. Add confectioners' sugar. Beat then spread.
