Regular Patch: 4 lg. eggs, well beaten 1 1/2 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. anise flavoring Pinch of salt 4-6 c. flour 2 rounded tbsp. baking powder 1/4 c. milk Large Patch: 6 lg. eggs, well beaten 2 1/4 c. butter 2 1/4 c. sugar 3 tbsp. anise flavoring Pinch of salt 7-8 c. flour 3 rounded tbsp. baking powder 3/8 c. milk Beat eggs well. Add butter and continue beating. Add and beat sugar. Add flavoring and salt. Beat in flour and baking powder along with the milk. Dough handles best when dough is chilled. Roll and shape dough as you please. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. |
