1 c. Crisco
1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/3 c. milk
1/4 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream Crisco, butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift dry ingredients. Add small portion of dry ingredients alternating with milk. Add vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
