GRANNY CAKE 
1 stick butter
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 1/3 c. sugar

Set oven at 325 degrees. In a 9 x 12 x 2 inch baking pan, slowly melt butter; set aside to cool.

In a large mixing bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Turn on mixture and add the melted butter. With your fingers, grease the sides of the pan as you add the butter to the mixing batter. Dust the pan with sugar and set aside. Return to mixing bowl and scrape down sides and bottom of bowl. Pour batter into the baking pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until done to the touch.
