CHOCOLATE GLAZE FROSTING 
1/4 c. cocoa
2 tbsp. shortening
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Combine cocoa, 3 tablespoons water, shortening and corn syrup in medium saucepan. Stir over low heat until shortening melts and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat; beat in sugar and vanilla. Pour over top of cake allowing to drizzle over sides. Blend in 1 tablespoon water if mixture does not pour easily.

Great gloss, great pourability, but I am ever so glad I only added 1 cup of icing sugar. 2 cups would be too sweet for me, and I NEVER reduce the amount of sugar in recipes.
