CHICKEN LIVERS AND MUSHROOMS | |
3 slices bacon, chopped 1/2 med. onion, chopped 1 lb. chicken livers 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. snipped parsley 1/8 tsp. pepper Place bacon and onion in 1 1/2 quart casserole, cover. Microwave at high until bacon is crisp and onion is tender, 3 to 6 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Microwave at medium-high until chicken livers are firm and tender and sauce is thickened, 17 to 22 minutes, stirring once or twice. Serve over rice or noodles, if desired. |
