SAUSAGE-MUSHROOM DRESSING | |
1 lb. ground sausage 1 c. diced celery 1/2 c. butter 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 c. chopped onion 8 oz. mushrooms, chopped 1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 10 c. firm bread cubes or crumbs In skillet brown sausage and drain; remove from skillet. Saute onion, celery and mushrooms in butter 5 minutes. Stir in sausage, poultry seasoning and pepper; cook 3 minutes more. Add to bread cubes; toss until mixed well. Makes 10 cups, enough for a 12-15 pound turkey. |
