HUNGARIAN COFFEE CAKE | |
1/2 lb. butter 3 c. flour 1 c. white sugar 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. raisins 2 eggs, beaten 1 c. chopped nuts 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. buttermilk Mix flour, sugars and butter until crumbly. Set aside one cup crumbs for topping. Add eggs and nuts to batter and blend. Mix baking soda with buttermilk and add to batter. Grease a 9x13 inch pan and pour in batter. Sprinkle crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees, 35 minutes. Nuts may be eliminated in batter and used on top if desired. |
