PINEAPPLE - CHEESE LOAF | |
2 c. sifted flour 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 1 c. drained crushed pineapples 1 egg, beaten Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add cheese and nuts. Stir pineapple and butter into beaten egg; add to dry ingredients. Blend well by hand (not mixer) and pour into greased bread pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Turn out on wire rack to cool. Flavor is better next day. |
