1 c. butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 2/3 c. flour
1 tsp. flavoring (lemon or vanilla)

Mix first two ingredients in mixer until creamy. Gradually add flour until well blended. Add extract. Form into ball, place on cookie sheet and press down with fork. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
