CRAB ASPARAGUS AU GRATIN | |
2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1 2/3 c. milk 1/4 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1/4 c. shredded Swiss cheese 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. dry sherry 24-30 cooked asparagus spears 1 lb. crab meat Grated Parmesan cheese Melt butter and add flour. Stir in milk until smooth. Add cheeses and stir until melted. Add seasonings and sherry and simmer 10 minutes. Line a 13"x9" casserole with asparagus. Spread crab over asparagus and cover with sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. 4 to 8 servings. |
