PEACH COBBLER 
1 egg, beaten
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. plain flour
1 stick butter, melted
peaches (fresh or canned)
light bread
cinnamon

Mix egg, sugar, flour and butter. Do not beat, will be sort of pasty. Put generous layer of peaches in a baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Cut several slices of light bread in 2 inch strips. Lay closely over peaches, then pour paste mixture over bread and peaches.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes or until bread is slightly brown.
