1 box Uncle Bens long grain & wild rice or 1 box Uncle Bens brown & wild rice (not instant)
1 roll Jimmy Dean's hot sausage
1 bunch chopped green onions

Prepare rice as directed on box, but do not add the seasoning packet yet. (Cook until water is gone.) Crumble and brown sausage until done. Saute onions in butter until transparent (as they say). Add sausage, onions and seasoning packet (that you saved from your rice box) to rice mixture. Stir; cover and let simmer for about an hour; stir occasionally. Recipe can be doubled or tripled according to your crowd. Enjoy.
