MINESTRONE SOUP 
1 lb. Italian sausage
1 c. diced onion
1 clove garlic, diced
1 c. carrots, sliced thin
1 tsp. crushed basil
2 sm. zucchini, sliced
1 can tomatoes with liquid
3 beef bouillon cubes
4 to 5 c. water
2 c. finely shredded cabbage
Pepper
1 can Great Northern beans, undrained

Slice sausage 1/2 inch thick and then in 1/2 or 1/4. Brown. Add onion, garlic, carrots, and basil. Cook 5 minutes. Add zucchini, tomatoes, bouillon, cabbage, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 1 hour. Add beans and liquid last. Cook 20 minutes more.
