SIERRA NUGGET'S COUNTRY STYLE
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together until smooth:

1 c. butter, softened
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. white sugar

Add:

1 tsp. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat and add 2 eggs. Stir in 1 cup crumbled cornflakes and 3 cups oatmeal.

Sift together in a separate bowl:

1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mace
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. powdered cloves

Mix well. Add to creamed mixture.

Stir in:

4 oz. coconut
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. pecans, walnuts, pinenuts

Drop by well rounded teaspoons on greased sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Sometimes I add more flour to mix if cookies come out flat. Dough mixture should hold together in ball, but not stick to fingers too much.
