BAKED CHICKEN BREASTS | |
6 chicken breast halves, boned & skinned 1 c. plain yogurt 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2 cloves garlic 2 tsp. celery salt 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 c. dry bread crumbs 1/2 c. butter Combine yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, celery salt, salt and pepper. Combine with chicken breasts and coat each piece well. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove chicken from yogurt mixture and roll in bread crumbs. Coat evenly in crumbs, arrange chicken in single layer in large shallow lightly greased pan. Melt 1/2 of butter. Spoon over chicken. Bake, uncovered for 45 minutes. Melt and spoon remaining butter. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until nicely browned. Serves 6. |
