BETTER-THAN-ALMOST-ANYTHING CAKE | |
1 pkg. German Chocolate cake mix 1 can Sweetened Condensed milk 1 jar (17 oz.) caramel, butterscotch, or fudge topping 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip 1 bag (8 oz.) toffee chip or bits Bake cake as directed on package. Using a 13 x 9 inch pan. Cool 15 minutes. Poke top of warm cake every 1/2 inch with a handle of wooden spoon. Drizzle sweetened milk evenly over top of cake. Let stand until milk has been absorbed into cake. Drizzle caramel topping cover and refrigerate about 2 hour. Spread with Cool Whip on top of cake. Sprinkle with toffee chips, cover and refrigerate any remaining cake. |
