DANISH TARTS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and add sugar. Add nuts and vanilla. Add flour which has been sifted 3 times. Roll into balls about 3 inches in diameter. Mash hole in center and drop in some jelly firm jelly. Put on greased baking sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven.
