COMPANY CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 c. uncooked med. width noodles
1 c. cream style cottage cheese
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. dairy sour cream
1/3 c. sliced green onions
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese

In a large skillet, cook meat and onion until meat is lightly browned and onion is tender. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, salt, garlic salt and pepper. Remove from heat. Meanwhile cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, green onions and green pepper. Spread half the noodles in an 11 x 7 inch baking pan; top with half of the meat sauce and half of the cheese mixture. Repeat with the rest of the ingredients. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Makes 8 to 10 servings.

VARIATION: Omit the cottage cheese, increase sour cream to one cup, use grated Cheddar for topping instead of Parmesan.
