COMPANY CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
2 tbsp. butter
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 c. creamed cottage cheese
1/2 c. minced green onion
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tbsp. minced green pepper
1 sm. jar sliced black olives
1/2 c. sour cream
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles (macaroni or miniature shells, etc.) cooked and drained

Cook ground beef with salt in 2 tablespoons butter until lightly browned. Add tomato sauce and set aside. Combine next 7 ingredients in a medium size bowl.

Place 1/2 of the cooked noodles in a greased 2 1/2 to 3-quart casserole. Pour cottage cheese mixture over noodles; add the remaining noodles. Spread meat mixture on top. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
