POTATO CHIP COOKIES 
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. crushed fresh or stale potato chips
1 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. coconut

Cream shortening, sugars and eggs. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until browned. Yield: 36 cookies.
